CHOCOLATE CAKE 🍫 Ingredients: 250g self-raising flour 55g unsweetened cocoa powder 1tsp cornflour 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 125g caster sugar 115g dark brown soft sugar 1/4tsp salt 3 eggs 3/4 milk 120ml oil 1 shot of strong espresso 1. Once all ingredients have been fully combined, pour into two 8 inch tins to bake for 25 mins at 180 degrees. (poke with toothpick to make sure batter is cooked) Ganache: 300ml double cream or whipping cream 300g dark chocolate 75g butter 1 tsp sugar (optional) 2. Once you’ve added the butter, put the mixed batter in the fridge for a minimum of 30 mins to develop more flavour. Before filling and decorating the cake, use an electric whisk to double the mixture into light and fluffy peaks.
